Beckett / Becket

The name Beckett in Ireland is usually of immigrant origin having been brought to Leinster Province by settlers who arrived from England as early as the fourteenth century. This name was also introduced to the Province of Ulster during the seventeenth century by the large number of settlers who arrived at that time.
