Foster

The name Foster in Ireland is of immigrant origin having been brought into the country by settlers who arrived from England, especially during the seventeenth century. It is in the Province of Ulster that the majority of descendants bearing this name can today be found.

Origen: Normando, Escocés. First found in Northumberland where they were seated from very ancient times, some say well before the Norman Conquest and the arrival of Duke William at Hastings in 1066 A.D.
