Huggard

Origen: Normando. The name Huggard derives from the Middle English words "hogg" and "herd." It is thought to have been an occupational name that was no doubt original born by someone who worked as a keeper or herder of pigs. First found in Westmoreland where they were seated from very ancient times, some say well before the Norman Conquest and the arrival of Duke William at Hastings in 1066 A.D.
