Minogue / Minnock

The names Minogue and Minnock in Ireland are derived from the native Gaelic O'Muineog sept that was located in Counties Clare and Tipperary. The town of Ballyminogue still exists in their ancestral homeland. Mannix and Monaghan are occasional variants of this sept name.

Origen: Irlandés. Encontrados primero en Co. Carlow, donde Clerichen O Muineoc, Obispo de Leighlin, murió en 1050.
