Moroney / O´Moroney

Origen: Irlandés. The name Moroney in Ireland is derived from the native Gaelic Septs O'Maolruanaidh that were based in Counties Clare and Kerry. Mulrooney is a variant of this name that is still most often found in the ancestral homeland Counties along the Western seaboard. First found in county Fermanagh, where the family was seated since ancient times.
